Technical Services play a critical role in our Turkey operations, providing blasting services, technical consultancy, innovative applications, and support services to deliver high-quality service to our stakeholders and ensure operational success. Technical Services holds a significant share, accounting for more than 20% of our total operations.
Blasting Services
Solar Mining Services Inc. (SMS) organizes blasting services across 7 different regions in Turkey with a total of 21 teams. SMS possesses the largest blasting crew capacity in the country, performing approximately 4 million cubic meters of blasted excavation annually. Our operational capacity on high-volume projects includes engineering expertise and technical consultancy. This capacity, used in high-risk areas, ensures efficient and safe blasting operations all over the country.
Technical Consultancy Services
Our blasting operations are supervised and monitored by engineers who are experts in their respective fields within the framework of occupational health and safety standards. Blasting services are constantly overseen by field engineers who maximize operational efficiency and safety. Our technical consultancy services offer risk analysis and engineering solutions at every stage of the projects, optimizing blasting operations. Additionally, for projects requiring advanced engineering, depending on quick-response capabilities we offer solutions for both short-term and long-term needs.
Technological Services
We continuously improve the technological infrastructure in all our blasting processes. Innovative approaches are integrated, such as computer-aided design (CAD) software, geographic information systems (GIS), drone-based modeling, and blasting simulations. These technologies allow us to perform comprehensive analyses and effectively control pre-blast, execution and after-blast phases.

We manufacture explosives needed for underground and surface coal mining, metallic ores, industrial minerals, aggregates (quarrying), and cement sectors, as well as for energy, transportation, and all kinds of infrastructure projects.
Manufacturing and Supply of Non-Electric Ignition Systems
This is a non-electric detonator system that we have specifically designed and manufactured for use in above-ground and underground blasting, offering superior safety, high performance, and minimal environmental impact.
Explosives Storage and Transportation Services
In accordance with current regulations, we provide transportation services between warehouses or from warehouses to workplaces to our customers and solution partners with expert, trained personnel holding the necessary licenses and with vehicles equipped with the necessary technical infrastructure. Similarly, we offer storage services with our fixed or temporary warehouses.
